Jammu, July 7:
Chairman Thakur Angrez Singh has raised the demand to identify the miscreants who vandalized the statue of Lord Shiva in Chota Mani Mahesh. He said that strict action should be taken against those who are involved in vandalizing the statue.
Thakur Angrez Singh said that a huge fair is organized in Chota Mani Mahesh every year in the month of August. Devotees keep coming to Chota Mani Mahesh for a week. They take a holy bath in the lake at Chota Mani Mahesh and have darshan of Lord Shiva.
Thousands of devotees from Udhampur and Doda districts reach the fair.
He has demanded from the administration that a thorough investigation should be done in this case.
