Jammu, May 17: Sher e Kashmir university of agriculture Science and Techonology Jammu under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr.RK Gupta distributed basmati seed and other varieties of paddy to the farmers and department of
agriculture Jammu.
Skuast successfully achieved with the concerted efforts of Dr Anjani Kumar singh Plant breeder and Dr Amriesh Vai,Nodal officer Mega Seed Project SKUAST
Jammu .
Dr Anjani Kr Singh said that despite of strict lockdown in Jammu region various
varities namely basmati 370,pusa basmati 1121, 1718.1728 and 1637 were distributed among
the farmers and department of agriculture,Jammu. Since 2007 seed distribution SKUAST
Jammu is providing quility seed to the farmers of Jammu region.
