Poonch, August 4:
After receiving information about suspicious activity in the area in Dhara Sangla village in Poonch district. A joint search operation was launched by the SOG Surankot and 16 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) at around 7 am on Tuesday.
According to official sources, on August 4, two separate incidents of suspicious sightings were reported.
In the first incident, 3 suspicious people were seen near Gujjar Nar at around 6:30 pm. The second incident, 4 suspicious people were seen near Kherowali Dhok at around 1:30 pm.
Based on their intelligence, the security forces immediately launched a coordinated search operation to search the area and trace the suspects. The operation is still underway and further information is awaited. Security forces have stepped up vigil in the area to ensure the safety and security of the local residents.
