Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit has appealed to clarify the confusion over the restoration of the Amarnath Yatra and urges the Hindu organizations to pressurize the government on the restoration of this holy yatra.
As per press statement issued to mercury times, the state president Manish Sahni said that the silence of the Honorable Lt. Gov. , Manoj Sinha and the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board officials regarding restoration of Yatra is causing confusion.
Sahni said that there is no movement even on yatra arrangements , Anchor service , Snow removal from the path leading to the holy cave and restoration of the registration process. This apathetic attitude of the government and the board clearly indicative towards the cancellation of the Amarnath Yatra.
Sahni said that if this happens, the Amarnath Yatra will be canceled for the third consecutive year, which will hurt
the religious sentiments of the devotees
Sahni said that the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra is going smoothly and almost all religious places are being visited on the condition of following the Covid Guide Line. He said that the holy Amarnath Yatra is to begin on June 28, with more than a month remaining.
He appeals to the Lt. Gov. to issue instructions for immediate restoration of Yatra process with strictly following the Covid guideline.
Sahni took a jibe at the silence of the BJP leaders , who have been citing Hinduism and making a lot of hue and cry about the opening of religious places in Maharashtra, should leave silence on the Amarnath Yatra. On this occasion Women Wing president Meenakshi Chibber and General Secretary Vikas Bakshi were also present.
