Scope of land subsidence is continuously increasing in Ramban, ban on going to Parnot area

Ramban, April 30:

Amid heavy rains in Ramban, the landslide in Parnot area continued for the fifth consecutive day on Monday. Its scope is increasing. Parnot area has been declared a no-go zone. No one will be allowed to come here.

The administration is continuously monitoring the situation. Relief camps and District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Ramban Camp office are working at Parnot Panchayat to deal with any situation.

The affected families have been temporarily accommodated in the community center of Ramban, in the houses of relatives and neighbors. DC Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary said that the process of land subsidence is continuing. So far, all 100 families along with animals from the areas affected by Parnot landslide have been evacuated to safe places from Nemad and Telga wards.
