Senior Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader and District vice president Pulwama Hayat Mohammad Aijaz has urged the administration to take measures on priority to redress the grievances of the people after the recent snowfall in Pulwama district.
In a statement issued to mercury times, Hayat Aijaz said that several villages of Pulwama district are yet to be cleared ,there is shortage of essential commodities in these areas besides people are facing hardships due to the non- availability of electricity in these areas after the recent snowfall.
He demanded that the administration should gear up its men and machinery to clear various interior road connectivity in several areas which are still snow bound and have not been cleared.
He urged the administration to immediately put its men and machinery to work so that the essential commodities are kept available for the convenience of the people.
Hayat Aijaz asked the officers of PDD to restore the power supply in those areas early where it has been affected.
He also sought round the clock availability of medicare facilities at health centers especially far flung areas of Pulwama district .
