Jammu, March 7:
On Tuesday a huge landslide has been occurred on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway near Seri area of Ramban district wherein one man is killed while six other received injuries.
An official reported that a massive landslide took place this afternoon near Seri region, submerging two cars beneath the rubble.
According to him, six other people were hurt in the incident and were being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment wherein one person died during treatment.
Even as rescue efforts were being made in the region, the official warned that more people might still be trapped beneath the rubble.
The deceased has been identified as Surjeet Singh, a son of Sumber’s Sher Singh.
As a safeguard, the highway has been blocked to traffic in the interim.
