Today, Corporator Pritam Singh organised Shabeel at Shanti Nagar, Kunjwani in ward 55.
During the shabeel chilled and sweet water was distributed among the passerby public. The shabeel was organised by Women Wing of J&K State Congress Committee.
In a statement issued to mercury times, while addressing the media, Corporator Pritam Singh said that today along with the Women wing of J&K State Congress Committee, we have organised Shabeel at Shanti Nagar Kunjwani in which we are distributing chilled and sweet water among the passerby public as a way to provide relief from scorching heat. He further said that he along with his team are working for the welfare of the public and will continue doing such social activities for the welfare of the public so that no one has to suffer during this corona pandemic. He further appealed the general public, not to wander outside needlessly and wear masks and practice social distancing while at a public place as corona cases are on the rise again.
Nisha Bhagat, Rajni Devi, Neelu, Lalita, Ajay Kumar, Omkar Singh, Sanji Ram, Naresh Kumar, Yashpal, Rohit, Vickey, Vijay and other prominent members were also present.
