Srinagar, November 5:
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s two sons Zaheer and Zameer on Tuesday watched the proceedings of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly for the first time. Both are in their 20s and are lawyers by profession. Zaheer and Zameer Abdullah watched the proceedings during the condolence motions. They were seated next to Chief Minister’s advisor Naseer Aslam Wani.
Zaheer and Zameer had campaigned for their father in the Ganderbal constituency during the assembly elections. The duo was also seen actively campaigning for their father in the assembly elections. They met party workers and interacted with them. Apart from this, the duo also addressed a gathering of party workers in the Ganderbal assembly constituency and assured them that they will solve their problems themselves.
Recently, Zaheer and Zameer Abdullah also attended the party’s youth meeting in Jammu and interacted with the youth at the party’s students’ union office. However, both of them have no plans to join politics. They say that they are still very young and want to learn first.
