Pregnant woman dies in Rajouri, five doctors suspended

Jammu, December 24:

A pregnant woman died due to negligence in treatment in Badal village of Rajouri district. In this case, 5 doctors of GMC Rajouri have been suspended due to their negligence.

According to sources, the woman was admitted to GMC Rajouri in a critical condition during delivery. But due to delay and negligence in treatment, the woman died. The woman’s family accused the hospital administration that their sister lost her life due to the negligence of the doctors.

After the incident, the district administration formed an inquiry committee and after the investigation, the doctors were suspended. The suspended doctors include obstetricians and other medical staff. The Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri has ordered an inquiry into the matter and warned of strict action against the culprits.
