Democratic Progressive Azad Party Provincial Vice President Kashmir Mohammad Altaf Dar in a statement issued to press here expressing concern over the worst power crises in Kashmir, un scheduled power cuts, shutdowns in several parts of Kashmir province have started affecting residents, traders, hoteliers & other business units badly. Such a crisis has never been witnessed in the last three decades.
DPAP Provincial Vice President Mohammad Altaf Dar said that prolonged outages have crippled normal life as a severe power shutdowns crisis has gripped the Kashmir division.
Annoyed over the frequent power shutdowns outages in Srinagar city also.
Mohammad Altaf Dar criticize the administration for the unprecedented situation & also as far as electricity supply is concerned is quite unfortunate because even the areas having the latest smart meters are not being spared from unscheduled power shutdowns/cuts leaving aside the situation of consumers having old meters. Altaf Dar said despite the installation of smart meters people of valley are not getting a regular power supply.
Democratic Progressive Azad Party Provincial Vice President Kashmir Mohammad Altaf Dar Urged Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to take all possible steps for providing 24×7 power to bail out common house holds & business industry from the crisis.’’
