Polling staff will be sent by helicopter to nine centers of Ladakh, elections are going to be held on May 20

Jammu, May 15:

Voting for Ladakh Lok Sabha seat is to be held on May 20. It is not easy to reach the remote villages of this snowy desert. The Election Commission is working hard to conduct the elections successfully. There are nine polling stations in the state, where polling staff will be transported by helicopter.

Air Force helicopters will start flying from May 16. According to the Ladakh Election Office, helicopters will fly from May 16 to 18 to transport polling personnel to polling stations in remote areas of Leh district. At the same time, employees will be transported by helicopter to three remote polling stations in Kargil district on May 17 and 18.

Ladakh administration will complete the process of home voting in both the districts by May 15.
