The massive rescue operation launched after the massive avalanche at Zojila Pass has come to a successful conclusion.
The Ganderbal police have handed over the bodies of the deceased recovered during the operation to the Kargil administration.
According to officials, the rescue and relief operation was carried out under extremely challenging conditions.
The police have appealed to the general public and commuters to prioritise their safety. The strictly follow the traffic advisory issued while travelling on the Zojila route. It is advisable to avoid unnecessary travel, especially in bad weather conditions.
