Jammu, February 22:
The Jammu Police has achieved another success by recovering 14.03 gms of heroin (chitta) from a drug peddler from Ballol Naka.
A police team from Police Station Miran Sahib set up a naka near Ballol during routine patrolling.
They intercepted a white Swift vehicle with registration number JK02DJ/9786 for checking. During checking, 14.03 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from the rider.
The accused identified as Farid Ali @ Baba Ring Road @ Bagu S/o Salam Din R/o Galwande Chak Gajansu Madh Kanachak.
Apart from heroin, a crate and ₹3000 in cash were also recovered.
In this regard, a case has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station.
The accused person has been arrested, the smuggled goods, Toka, Swift vehicle have been seized.
