Jammu, June 15:
The Domana police station has arrested 2 drug smugglers under the drug free campaign of Jammu Police.
The police had received information that 2 suspicious people were standing in Master Sohan Lal Chowk, Raipur Domana.
The police team reached the spot and searched both of them.
During the search, about 6.15 grams of heroin-like narcotics were recovered from them. The arrested accused have been identified as Mandeep Singh Chib of Ward No. 5, Barnai and Neeraj Sharma resident of Ward No. 65, Upper Barnai, Jammu.
A case has been registered against both of them at Domana police station.
The police are now investigating the back and forth links of this drug network. The Jammu Police said that the drive against drugs will continue unabated. The police have appealed to the people to immediately inform the police if they get information about the purchase and sale of drugs.
