The freebies in Jammu Kashmir are going to hit the pockets of the common man. Free bus service for women is going to start from Tuesday, April 1. Petrol will become costlier by two rupees and diesel (Jammu Kashmir Petrol Diesel Price Hike) will also become costlier by one rupee. The fare of EV buses is also getting costlier.
Bus drivers are pressurizing the government to increase the fares of diesel buses. It would not be wrong to say that by distributing free sweets in Jammu and Kashmir, the burden on the common people is going to increase.
From Tuesday, at the beginning of the new financial year 2025-26, women will be able to travel free of cost in buses in the state and along with this the prices of petrol and diesel will also increase.
