Kathua, February 25: A PCPG meeting was held at DPL Kathua in which large number of respectable citizens and general public including DDC chairpersons,Chairperson MC Kathua,various ward Members,Sarpanches and other respectable persons of the area were present.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Kathua Dr. Shailendra Mishra ,IPS along with Addl SP Kathua Sh.Ramnish Gupta, Dy.SP headquarters,SHO PS Kathua and other officials.
During the meeting,participants raised various issues like traffic regulation,drug abuse etc and other issues.They were patiently heard and were they were assured by SSP Kathua that their geniune grievances shall be addressed as soon as possible so that more and more conducive and peaceful environment can be created in the society.
The aim of the meeting was to abridge the gap between public and police administration and to interact with the general public and on the other hand to aware the participants about various social evils and a need of their cooperation to eradicate the same with their proactive involvement and timely intervention.
At the end of meeting,all participants thanked and also assured that they will cooperate with police as its their basic fundamental duty to make society crime free as a whole.
At the end, Dy. SP hqrs thanked people for participating in the meeting and assured that such meetings shall be continued to be held more frequently in near future.
