With the onset of winter and fog, terrorists sitting in Pakistan are planning to infiltrate through the international border. After this input, security agencies have become alert in the IB areas adjoining Punjab and J&K.

On Thursday, security forces conducted a massive search operation in various areas of Hiranagar sector. Along with searching every inch of the areas around the rivers and canals adjacent to the IB, a strict vigil is being kept on the suspects.

The security forces have received inputs that a group of four to five Jaish terrorists are planning to infiltrate the border areas of Punjab and J&K. There is a possibility that this group can infiltrate from the border areas of Punjab adjacent to Jammu and Kashmir.

Due to which the Indian security agencies have become alert. The dense fog and low visibility in the area these days is also challenging for the security forces.
