Jammu, May 22:
Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Rehabilitation Department has declared Pakistani shelling as a state disaster. The dependents of those killed in war like situations and the injured will now also get help from the SDRF.
The family of the deceased will be given assistance of Rs. 4 lakhs. Those injured with more than 60 percent injuries will get Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Those with 40 to 60 percent injuries will get Rs. 75 thousand. Apart from this, those injured up to 40 percent will be given Rs. 16 thousand.
The Revenue Department will assess the number of people killed in Pakistani shelling. They will also submit a report to the District Deputy Commissioners.
