Srinagar, July 1:
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has given its consent to Engineer Rashid to take oath as MP. Now on July 2, the Delhi court will give its decision on this. He has been given permission with some conditions, which include not talking to the media. According to sources, Engineer Rashid can take oath on July 5. However, this has also not been decided.
Rashid had moved the court seeking interim bail or alternatively custodial parole to take oath and perform his parliamentary duties. The court had adjourned the matter on June 22 and asked the NIA to file its reply.
