Jammu, January 30:
Hundreds of people including political workers from different parties and social activists in Jammu East Constituency joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of party President Ravinder Raina in a simple but impressive function held at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Accompanied by Senior Vice President Yudhvir Sethi, District President Vinay Kumar Gupta and other leaders, Raina welcomed the new entrants including Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, OBCs and SCs, along with their supporters and renewed the pledge to dedicate themselves in the duty of nation. Rains said that the policies adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government in the centre have been attracting people in large numbers to serve the society better. “Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the government has ensured unprecedented development across the country, and the benefits of innumerable welfare schemes launched by the government has reached to the last man. It was Modi Ji’s visionary decisiveness that saved millions of lives during the covid-19 pandemic,” said Raina, addressing the new entrants which included booth-level workers of different political parties and social activists among others. Raina said Jammu and Kashmir has particularly reaped the maximum benefit, with Modi government laying special emphasis on the welfare of its citizens.
“The Jammu and Kashmir has seen a colossal wave of development under the BJP government. The poor in the union territory have particularly been benefitted with a plethora of welfare schemes. It is the faith in the BJP leadership that these people have joined the party today. I welcome them with open arms and hope that together we will work sincerely towards nation building,” said Raina.
Welcoming the new entrants to the party, Senior Vice President Yudhvir Sethi said their inclusion in the party has strengthened the land of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra. “Among the new entrants, we have people from every religion, every caste and creed. This truly shows that BJP is the only secular umbrella in the political landscape of this country,” Sethi said.
“This is also reflective of the fact that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted that BJP is their only political solution,” Sethi added, as he asked the new entrants to renew their pledge to work selflessly, in tandem, for the society and this great nation. Speaking on the occasion, district president Jammu Vinay Kumar Gupta said BJP’s missions of ‘Good Governance’ and the implementation of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwaas’ have changed the face of political inclusiveness in the region, “The BJP has kept progressing with its agenda of nation building, since its inception. Every worker of the party remains committed to contribute for the growth and welfare of the Nation,” he asserted.
Prominent among those joined the BJP in Raju Gujrati, Sanjeet Kumar, Deepu Devi, Kuldeep Raj, Jinder Kumar, Ram Pal, Parkasho Devi, Bittu Ram, Pushpa Devi, Ashok Kumar, Ramu Gujrati, Ranjit Kumar, Chandu Gujrati, Vinod Kumar and Suresh Kumar.
Among those present on the occasion were General Secretary Kuldeep Kandhari, Mandal President Praveen Kerni, Minority Morcha General Secretary Parvez Malik, Rajesh Dogra, Asif Gill, Subedar (Retd) Gurcharan Singh, Charanjeet Majotra and S. Harvinder Singh.
