Jammu/Srinagar, Aug 3:
Romesh Khajuria president of Jammu -KAshmir and Ladakh UTs, Mission Modi Again PM on Wednesday said that the mission will organise training camps for more than 500 youths volunteers from across the 10 districts of Kashmir province to work at the grass root level for proper implementation of the welfare schemes initiated by the Government of India.
He said this while addressing the office bearers of Mission Modi Again PM in a programme organised by the Yuva Morcha of Mission Modi Again PM, Kashmir province here in Srinagar, Lal Chowk.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Abrar Lone, provincial president, Kashmir while Romesh Khajuria, president of the Mission Modi Again PM presided over as chief guest.
Khajuria appointed Saba Bhat, a renowned social activist, as provincial president of Mahila Morcha, Mission Modi Again PM.
Ayaz Rasool Bhat, Councillor and Advisor to Hon’ble Mayor, Srinagar and Syed Rafiq Shah, former MLC, Jammu & Kashmir attended the programme as sepical guests . They also addressed the office bearers of Mission Modi Again PM.
Romesh Khajuria who is also Chairman, Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India said that during his recent visits he found a lot of investments done in Kashmir on infrastructure development by Modi Government for creating employment opportunities but most of the units/industries owned by UT Govt. are not functional and people associated with the industry sector are having no work and there is gross misuse of funds.
He further said that Modi Govt. is committed for overall development of Jammu & Kashmir Modi Mission again PM will not leave any stone unturned in making people aware of the welfare schemes started by Modi Government
Khajuria further said that the Lieutenant Governor is working hard around the clock to bring back on track the things which were derailed by the previous Government.
But due to lack of coordination between the government departments the development works are not moving ahead as speed as it may be .
He further stated that there some officers in the administration who are not sincere in implementing the policy/programmes/schemes of the government in real spirit and the responsibilities of the concerned officers may be fixed for getting the things done in time bound and the right spirit.
Romesh Khajuria also made some new appointments for office bearers of Mission Modi Again PM, Manzoor ali wani (Awantipora) prov. General Secretary Yuva Morcha, S. Ranjit Singh as prov. Vice President yuva morcha, Mudasir Nazir & Sujhat Rizvi both as Vice Presidents yuva morcha, Nazir ah. Bhat, ms. Josiah Bano & Inman Nazir all as Prov. Secretary Yuva Morcha, Asif Ali, Wasim ah. Malik & Abdul Ganie & Owais Sofia as prov. Joint secretaries, Iqbal Hussain, Niyaz wani & Manzoor Bhat all proviincal Executive members . Prominents among others present were: Abdul Ghani Wagey. UT Vice President Mission Modi again PM, Mohd Amin Dar, Rafiq Bhat, Noor Hussain, Mudasir and others.
