Jammu, January 20:
There are people whose voices over the years have become their sense of identity. Then there are people for whom sounds are the only mean of identification. And for those people for whom hearing is everything, 98.3 Mirchi and Directorate of Samagra Shiksha organised a film festival called Kaanon dekhi film festival.
Around 200 visually impaired kids were present at the film festival on the 20th of Jan 2020 where special screening of the Sanjay Dutt starrer Lage raho Munna bhai was done at Platinum Movie time SPA, Palm Island mall. The film screened at the festival was a specially narrated Audio movie produced for the visually impaired. Present at the film screening were Hridesh Gupta. IAS commissioner secretary, Arun Manhas.

Kaano dekhi film festival was 98.3 Mirchi’s attempt of spreading joy and cheer among the visually impaired. 98.3 Mirchi has always took the initiative of giving the people of the city experiences to remember and plans to do the same again and help everyone to cherish the beautiful things in life. Mirchi always stands by the tagline which is “Mirchi sunne wale always khush” and will always work in making everyone happy.
