Kishtwar, December 2:
Kishtwar Police recovered a minor kidnapped girl within days and arrested the accused persons involved in the commission of crime. In a statement issued to mercury times, on 23-11-2022 PS Atholi received a complaint from name (withheld) stating therein that his daughter had been kidnapped by one Najam Din S/o Gogra Bakerwal.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.44/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Atholi and investigation was initiated.
A-special team was constituted headed by SHO PS Atholi Insp Vikram Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Atholi Sh. Vikram Singh-JKPS, acting swiftly the team was able to recover the kidnapped girl within week time and arrest the accused person from Jamli area of Kathua District.
The accused person identified as Najam Din S/o Gora Bakerwal R/o Jamli district Kathua.
After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to her legal heirs.
