Expressing his shock and grief at the Militant attack on the BJP leaders in Sopore which resulted in death of one leader and police official and causing serious injuries to other, national BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh today warned Pakistan against trying to throttle democracy in J&K.
In a statement issued to Mercury Times, Chugh said it was a heinous act of cowardice by the Pakistan’s ISI sponsored militants.
“At a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to bring about development and growth in J&K, militants’ vicious gameplan to disrupt development process will be decisively defeated “, he said.
Chugh said people of J&K want progress and development. “Violence is fast losing sense and relevance “, he said.
