The name coronavirus is derived from the Latin corona, meaning “crown” or “halo”, which refers to the characteristic appearance of a crown or a solar corona around the virus when viewed under two-dimensional transmission electron microscopy. Coronavirus size ranges from approximately 27 to 34 kb the largest among known RNA viruses and are defined as a group of related viruses that can cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can be mild, such as some cases of the common cold ( mainly rhinoviruses), and others that can be lethal, are as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. Symptoms in other species vary. Human to human transmission of coronaviruses is primarily thought to occur among close contacts via respiratory droplets generated by sneezing and coughing. People may be sick with the virus for 1 to 14 days before developing symptoms. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are as fever, tiredness, and dry cough. 80% people recover from the disease without needing special treatment.More rarely, the disease can be serious and even fatal. Older people, and people with other medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease), may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill.

1. Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap or alcohol-based hand rub
2. Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
3. Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
4. Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell
5. practice yoga and pranayama on daily basis
6. Avoid contact with cold and frozen food and cold breeze.
7. avoid the consumption of undercooked meat, or going to places where animals are slaughtered.”
Don’t:_ touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean
