Jammu, October 11:
Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, visited the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Ramesh Kumar’s office.
On this occasion, Mahant Shastri presented him a nameplate inscribed in Sanskrit and various Vedic and religious books published by the Trust.
During this cordial meeting, a comprehensive discussion was held on the promotion and preservation of Devvani Sanskrit in the region.
Mahant Shastri briefed the Divisional Commissioner about the various Sanskrit education programs, Vedic schools (Pathshalas), and etc. He stated that the Trust aims to revive India’s ancient Vedic traditions.
Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar appreciated the initiatives of the Trust. He described Sanskrit as the soul of India’s cultural heritage.
On this occasion, Secretary of Jammu Club, Gaurav Gupta, and Kuldeep Singh were also present.
