Jammu, May 21:
After the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the state tourism industry has gone off track. The Travel Agents Association of India (TAI) is soon begins a campaign ‘Let’s go to Jammu and Kashmir’.
The national executive of the association has announced this. The agents from all over the country will gather in J&K in June. After this, they will also go to different parts of the country. They will also inspire the people to visit Jammu and Kashmir.
TAI’s state executive president Sameer Baktu said that due to the recent terrorist attacks and border tensions, the confidence of tourists has been shaken.
Baktu said the national executive meeting of TAI can be held in the first week of June in J&K.
All the members will see the ground reality of the state. And will go to their respective states and motivate tourists to come here.
Along with this, they will also meet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and officials of the Tourism Department, so that they can strengthen the campaign in their states.
