Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh said that all the developments in J&K, amid Corona lockdown are being keenly observed and the Union Territory (J&K UT) will be provided every type of assistance as he reviewed preparations in J&K amid Corona lockdown and discussed issues faced by masses with senior BJP leaders from J&K in a video-conferencing.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul apprised Dr. Singh of the ground situation in J&K during ongoing lock down. He was accompanied by J&K BJP Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi (Corona J&K Helpline Incharge) and party All Programme & Abhiyaan Incharge Ajay Pargal (Co-Incharge).
BJP National Council Member Priya Sethi (former Minister), party Mahila Morcha J&K President Sanjita Dogra and party IT & Social Media Incharge Jaidev Rajwal also participated in the Video Conferencing.
Yudhvir Sethi & Ajay Pargal, put forth various issues that were raised by callers on BJP Helpline. It was stressed that the along with the regular Ration and other essential supplies to needy population there is a big worry to already ill population. The critically ill patients need transportation in form of timely Ambulances as they need immediate medical attention. Also there is a large segment of patients that needs to make to and fro movements both inter-district as well as inter-state travel for their compulsory follow up. There is a range of medicines that is often unavailable at particular place seeking patient. Queries of J&K residents presently trapped in other States/UTs were also discussed. It was also impressed upon that farm feed supply must also be maintained as on regular basis for the health of farm and other animals. It was emphasized that the coordination between the public and the administration must be at maximum level and party will take all essential measures to cooperate administration for the same.
Dr. Jitendra Singh provided important key points regarding all the issues put forth and said that all the issues will be promptly taken care of. It was also decided that regular meetings by video conference mode will be conducted every few days. He also said that adequate medical facilities will be provided in J&K UT to effectively deal with the situation.
