Jammu Municipal Corporation in collaboration with BIG FM is organizing a three day live studio shift activity at Wave Mall, Jammu. Through this collaboration, the radio network is supporting ‘Be a Swachhata Hero’ initiative of JMC that aims to sensitize the residents of Jammu to effectively participatein Swachhta Mission of JMC so as to make Jammu clean and Green , thereby helping it improve the ranking in #SwachhSurvekshan2022.
In a statement issued to mercury times, the three day Programme in this context -SwachhSurvekshan 2022- was inaugurated by Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta- Mayor JMC, Advocate Purnima Sharma-Deputy Mayor, JMC, Ms. AvnyLavasa (IAS) Commissioner JMC, ,ShAjay Gupta- Chairman- Social Justice (JMC), Sh. HardeepSingh Mankotia, Chairman- Swachh Bharat Committee (JMC), Sh. Raj Kumar, Chairman-Health & Sanitation (JMC) and Mr Atul Kumar (JKAS) Secretary-JMC.
Speaking about the initiative, spokesperson at BIG FM said, “BIG FM has always been at the forefront of bringing out civic issues and helping generate awareness at a larger scale. Through this initiative, we want people to support us in making the city clean and green. They can also voice their opinion on Swachhta Survekshan website or download the app available on all leading play stores. The initiative is driven by one of the most loved jockeys from Jammu, RJ Juhie, who is promoting the campaign on-air, digital and on-ground. She has invited many experts, authorities, students to press the matter across forums and mediums.
