Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress leaders joined Sh. Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in New Delhi. IYC leaders Amarpreet Lalli, Jagdev Gaga, JKPYC President Uday Bhanu Chib, IYC Secretary Navneet Kaur & Amit Pathania, IYC Jt. Secretary Manpreet Singh Mani, Smanla Dorje, Divyansh Jamwal, Anirudh Sawhney and others will take on the padyatra which entered Delhi on Saturday and march from Bhaderpur to Red Fort. The Congress party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is on its 108th day having covered around 3000 kms across nine states. The Youth Congress leaders from Jammu Kashmir eagerly joined the Yatra as it entered Delhi and are also preparing for the Yatra’s welcome in Jammu Kashmir itself which will happen sometime in January of next year.
In a statement issued to mercury times, the Yatris had gathered in huge numbers at the Badarpur border to welcome the Yatra when it entered Delhi. The PYC leaders said that it was a great opportunity to march with the Yatris in this historic padyatra as it passes through the national capital.
They said that they have come to join and support Rahul Gandhi Ji’s Yatra as it passes through the capital. Thousands of people had joined the yatra to witness this movement first hand and this yatra also exemplifies Congress party’s history of personal sacrifice for the greater good. The yatris were seen in great spirits even after walking thousands of kms and, the Youth Congress members stated that it is because of the motive of the yatra is to spread harmony and love as opposed to any false agenda or narrative.
JKPYC members participated in the yatra in New Delhi and marched from Bhadarpur border to the historic Red Fort. They said that the yatra is receiving a lot of love across the nation as can be seen also in the huge numbers. Jammu Kashmir has also geared up to welcome the Yatra with full zeal and vigor, it was said. It was further stated that fhe yatra is a magnanimous task and is being handled very smoothly. We hope to carry this same spirit to Jammu and Kashmir as and when the Yatra arrives there and people are eagerly waiting to participate.
In every state, lakhs have joined the yatra. The youth Congress leaders along with fellow yatris are renewed their commitment to unity and democracy stating that on the other hand, the ruling party spreads “fear and violence” in the country.
