The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Sabha hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s great visit to Kashmir, and said that ₹1,400 crore impetus for the tourism sector under the Swadesh Darshan and PRASHAD (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation And Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) scheme and the Hazratbal Shrine project; and ₹5,000 crore schemes for the farming sector and promised to increase cold storages and warehouses in Kashmir, would matter much to bring grace to Kashmir.
JKBS’ General Secretary R.L.Kaith and other executive members said, Kashmir under the regime of PM Modi, is progressing at a fast pace. People needn’t go out of J&K for treatment of serious diseases, as there are two AIIMS, seven medical colleges and two cancer hospitals are here now. Besides, two Vande Bharat trains and a number of Modi buses are plying in Jammu and Srinagar. Both are becoming smart cities and new projects are in offing. East or west PM Modi is the best, they added.
