Jammu, November 26:
To honour and remember the architect of Indian Constitution Dr B R. Ambedkar, and to instil sense of patriotism in the Batwal community people, the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Sabha (JKBS) celebrated the Constitution Day with great zest and buoyancy at a brief function held here today.
In a statement issued to mercury times, JKBS’ Chairman Havildar Dilay Ram Kaith, President Rachhpal Kaith, JKBS General Secretary R.L.Kaith and many others spoke on the importance of being a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic country and read out the preamble along with the community people and explained the history and story behind it.
Towards the end of the celebration, the JKBS members along with Batwal community people took a pledge to reaffirm their commitment to uphold and protect the ideologies of the Constitution.
