Srinagar, August 22:
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) Farooq Abdullah has announced an alliance with Congress for the assembly elections. He said that the NC and Congress alliance has been finalized, the phase-wise list will be published by evening.
Congress has also announced the alliance from its X account. In which it was said that today party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi met National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah in Srinagar.
Congress has said that we had a meeting. Our plans are on the right track and we hope that the alliance will work well. We are discussing the seat sharing. It will be finalised by this evening.
