Poonch, April 28:
The Mendhar police station police has seized the immovable property of a notorious drug smuggler Ejaz Ahmed alias Mantu.
He is the son of Ghulam Sarwar, resident of village Ari, tehsil Mendhar, district Poonch. The property was seized under the stringent provisions of the NDPS Act.
This action was taken by the Mendhar police station under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
The seized property includes a residential house located in village Ari, Tehsil Mendhar.
The confiscation of the property was carried out after completing all legal formalities and in full compliance with the law.
The accused is involved in FIR No. 40/2021 (under Section 8(a)/21/22/27 of the NDPS Act) registered at the Gursai Police Station.
By targeting illegal properties, the police want to send a strong message that those involved in drug trafficking will face strict legal action.
