Jammu, March 22:
A series of events were conducted at various places of Jammu to mark the celebration of world oral health week.
In addition, Rangoli and Slogan writing competition was also organised in Department of Public Health Dentistry, IDS, Sehora Jammu.
On the occasion, different age groups of people took part in it and taken benefit from these events.
Various teams of doctors from the Institute conducted free oral health checkups along with giving demonstrations on brushing techniques.
According to Dr. Esha Bali ,HOD, Public Health Dentistry, the main aim of these events was to lay emphasis on understanding the significance of dental health care and it stressed upon incorporating a healthy balanced diet along with maintaining a proper regular oral hygiene routine for attaining optimal dental health.
