Bandipore, May 10:
Indian Army Veterans are unsung heroes who have selflessly served the motherland with valour and made countless sacrifices for the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Their devotion to duty and selfless service have earned them the admiration and respect of the entire country.
14 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion has taken a significant step towards complementing our responsibility to take care of our Veterans and their families. The battalion has opened a URC/NON-URC extension counter at Kharpura Army Camp, which will provide easy access to CSD facilities and benefits to the Veterans and their dependents.
Veterans have always been at the forefront, in any circumstance, be it war or peace, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, or any other national emergency. This initiative is a small token of appreciation from the battalion to our Veterans who have devoted their prime time to serving the nation.
Through the extension counter, Veterans and their dependents will be able to access CSD facilities and benefits, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and assistance. The initiative is a testament to the Indian Army’s commitment to serving our Veterans and their families.
