As part of the investigation into the mysterious disappearance and death of Iqra Mushtaq. The teams of the police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) conducted a massive search operation in the Mandi river.
According to officials, the special operation was conducted to collect evidence related to the case and to ascertain the circumstances of the incident. Teams of SDRF and J&K Police conducted intensive searches in the Mandi River and its adjoining areas.
It was told that after the body of the minor girl Iqra Mushtaq was recovered this month. The SIT has been investigating the matter.
The death of Iqra Mushtaq has created deep concern in the entire district. The demand for justice is being continuously raised by the people.
The police have once again appealed to the public not to share unconfirmed and misleading information on social media. At the same time, the investigating agencies have been urged to convey any credible information and cooperate in the investigation.
