Jammu, May 11:
A major accident was averted during a strong storm and storm in Pangdaur village of Samba district. The family escaped safely in the accident. There was a storm with heavy rain and lightning. Two rooms of Banarasi Das’s house were damaged due to the collapse of the tower, while the surrounding tin shed and solar panels were also destroyed.
According to the family, the tower collapsed at around 12:30 a.m. with a loud noise, but fortunately the rooms were empty at that time, which averted a major accident. Power was also disrupted for about 11 hours. The victim’s family has appealed to the administration for help. It was told that this tower was installed in 2012 and BSNL officials also reached the spot after the incident.
