Hundreds of fish have died in the holy lake of Kundeshwar Dham in Bishnah. It is suspected that some mischievous element has thrown poisonous substance or stale food in it.
On Monday morning, Vijay Giri, who takes care of the temple, saw dead fish in the pond. He informed the people of the town. People who reached the spot took stock of the situation and expressed their anger.
Town resident Ajay Sharma said that the administration had worked hard on this pond and then the youth of the village took up the responsibility of preserving it.
