MENDHAR, December 1: Apni Party Vice President Youth Wing Raqeeq Ahmed Khan said that the Govt should accept the long pending demands of Home Guards and regularized them.
Khan said, “With regard to the 12 months duty on a daily basis and accordingly they should be paid the salaries.”
“The Home Guards are getting Rs 2700 per month and it is unjustified for them as they serve the department like police force yet they are ignored,” he said.
Home Guards should be given salaries at par with their colleagues in Chandigarh and Delhi and Khan demanded that the Govt should be given equal rights to the Home Guards.
