Active immunity, passive immunity, herd immunity and other types of immunities were discussed in detail.Active immunity is a type of immunity that is created by our own immune system when we come in contact with a harmful pathogen. The active immunity acts as a quick response to outside invader. Passive immunity is a type of immunity that is achieved by something other than one’s own immune system.
