As a part of different activities being organized under SVEEP and to ensure maximum participation of voters District Administration Kishtwar in collaboration with Government Degree College Chatroo organised a quiz competition and an awareness programme today.
The programme was organised under the overall supervision and guidance of Dr Ved Kumar Principal of the college
Around 60 students and Staff members participated in the said programme.
The program started with the welcome address and a brief Introduction about SVEEP by Dr Muddaser Nazar,Convenor of the program.
Cheif organiser of the program Prof. Ajeet Kumar described the importance of voting and democracy to the students.
In addition to this a Quiz competition was also organised on the topic Sveep in which four groups of students from different semesters actively participated in the event.
The quiz competition was conducted by prof. Ajeet Kumar where as Prof Nasir Mir acted as scorer of the event.
Dr Ved Kumar Principal of the college in his elaborative lecture stressed upon the inclusion of the voters in the voter list, summary revision, importance and value of vote.
