Jammu, April 8:
Electoral Literacy Club in collaboration with Department of Music under the banner of IQAC of Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah today organised field visit to an adopted village Chorli to raise voting awareness in the village.
As many as 45 students of GDC Bishnah who are also “First time voters” ,along with Prof. Shrotika Rajput and Prof.Shivani Raina visited panchayat Ghar, Government Primary school and Baal shiksha Kendra high school in Chorli where they presented Skit on the significance of Voting and sensitised voters about their rights and responsibilities towards electoral process.
Students also conducted Survey in the village and collected data based on questionnaire regarding voting Awareness from around 40 families.
