Jammu, December 4:
A 54-year-old forest guard while on duty died after falling from a hill in Ramban district. Abdul Gaffar Sohil, a resident of Tabila village in Banihal, fell into a deep gorge near Nachlana on Tuesday night. Sohil was found dead at the spot after an hour-long rescue operation. Post-mortem was conducted at the Banihal sub-district hospital and the body was handed over to his relatives on Wednesday after completing legal formalities, officials said.
