Jammu 21-05-2020:- Youth Wing of NCP under the chairmanship of Er.Rishi Kilam National Joint Secretary and Spokesperson while commenting on the sorrowful plight and suffering of gujjars and bakerwals who are residing in hostels at Jammu have to face various genuine problems and issues during their stay in their hostels. Er.Rishi while showing dismay and anger on the factual allegations brought forward by the inmates said that it is ironic that the gujjar and bakarwals are still considered as below dignity community in the eyes of administration though the ministry of tribal affairs are concerned for their over all development but they suffer at the hands of the concerned authorities and wardens designated for their development. Er.Rishi added that the so called residential school is absolutely functioning against the norms and directions of school education board. But the education board authorities are also silent and not concerned because they are perhaps children of gujjars. If we talk of sanitation the washrooms are unhygenic and no student dares even to open the doors,no electricity backup. Rishi appealed Lt.Governor Murmu and his advisors to kindly look into the matter in the interest of Justice and on humantarian grounds remove the influential warden and careless staff immediately if in real sense the administration is concerned about the development of gujjars and bakarwals. Rishi appealed the Lt. governor to check the corruption and misuse of Hostel and mess funds as they are not reaching the inmates properly.
