Bandipora, July 31:
Flash floods occurred in Malpora area of Sadarkoot Bala area of Bandipora district on Friday due to heavy rains. Due to this, water, mud, stones and debris entered a government primary school and normal life was disrupted.
According to locals, a sudden rise in water in a nearby stream led to a huge amount of mud, silt and other materials. Due to this, it blocked the drainage routes and filling the inner link road of Malpora with debris. 
The flash floods badly affected the Government Primary School at Gani Mohalla, Malpora. The mud entered the school premises and several classrooms.
The residents have demanded the administration to immediately clean the inner link road and drainage system.
