Jammu, February 24:
Tyson, the German Shepherd of the Army who played a key role in the elimination of Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Saifullah and two of his associates during Operation Trashi in Kishtwar district, is now recovering fast.
Army officials said that Tyson himself suffered the first bullet while entering the terrorists’ hideout, yet without fear.
He went ahead and attacked the terrorists. Due to his bravery, the Army, Police and CRPF personnel were able to target the terrorists properly and kill them.
“Despite being injured, Tyson is full of spirits and exemplifies his devotion to duty,” the White Knight Corps said. He is a true warrior in every sense.
Tyson suffered a front leg injury and was later airlifted to a veterinary hospital. General Officer Commanding Corps, Lt. General P.K. Mishra visited the hospital and took stock of Tyson’s condition and directed him to ensure better medical facilities. The army also said that the terrorists will no longer find refuge anywhere and the search will continue.
