Prominent Social and Political Activits Er.Rishi Kilam welcomes the much needed step taken by the government while approving the in Lok Sabha for giving two nominations to ignored KP community in the J&K assembly along with POJK refugees. In a statement issued to mercury times, Er.Rishi Kilam said that for a long time kashmiri Community had no representation in the assembly and their demands, issues and genuine interests were by passed and no one was prepared to listen them with the result the whole community was ignored.
Er.Rishi Kilam added that now the new representatives should be elected and selected with the consent and approval of the whole community members by way of community election so that nepotism, favouritism may not take place. It should be in a transparent manner and not on the basis of pic and choose and party affilation.
