Field visit was organized by Ekta Mushroom Growers Muoti-purpose Cooperative Society Ltd. Promoted by Mahila Welfare Committee Samba. On this occasion, Chief General Manager Nabard P. Bala Chandan alongwith Dy. General Manager Nabard Samriti Bhagat and Dy. Project Director (ATNA) District Samba Ashok Gupta visit different spots at village Daboh and Saha Balode where cultivation of button Mushroom is in progress.
CGM during his field visit monitor the crop in Mushroom hut and interact with Mushroom growers about care and management of button mushroom and functioning of Farmer Producer Organization.
Prominent farmers Hans Raj, Gurdyal, Pritam, Munshi Ram and number of farmers also interact with CGM Nabard. Madan Chouhan who is Nabard Coordinator brief CGM bout the functioning of FPO and also give detail about recent tour programme of Mushroom Growers at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University Nauni Salan.
Dy. Project Director (ATNA) Ashok Gupta during the field visit, interact with CGM Nabard about the platform facility for preparing quality compost for Mushroom growers and that facility should be made available to individual grower. He gave suggestion to the visiting officers of Narard that growers faces lots of problems during different stages of growing crop. To overcome with this problem we should introduce the concept of Farm School among the Mushroom Growers and this technology will provide remedial measures for their problems related to their crop. Chief General Manager Nabard fully satisfied with the concept of Farm School and gave direction to Coordinator Nabard for early submission of proposal regarding farm school and gave satisfactory remarks about the functioning of farmer producer organization.
